Hi travellers,
I am new to the travel nurse game and have been feeling out different companies for what they offer. I was really interested in Medical Solutions out of Nebraska initially but the recruiter they assigned me to seemed very inexperienced, unsure and unable to answer my questions and actually made some off hand remarks that were offensive without him realizing it. I have since informed him I will not be requiring his services but would still like to speak to someone in the company who is knowledgable in the information.
Do you think it is ok if I wrote to the main company email explaining I am looking to speak to someone with more knowledge?
Thanks guys!

Absolutely! That is what I did with my first agency before I started traveling. It was really stressing me out. I would make a phone call and ask for a recruiter manager. Don't say anything to disparage the first recruiter, simple say that you are not communicating well. Alternatively, consider talking to On Assignment. Medical Solutions owns them now and they should have access to the same assignments. But the culture may well be different there. As you might be discovering, finding a good recruiter may be more important to happy traveling than the actual agency name.
