Medical needs on bus

Hello,

How does your school handle potential medical needs on the bus? (Snacks for a diabetic student, suctioning, VNS swiping, etc.) 

Do you, as the nurse, notify the bus driver/dispatch of higher level medical needs, provide any training or emergency action plans, or delegate any care to bus staff?

Trying to learn how other districts handle this, prior to a meeting next week. Thank you for any input!
