Sorry if this double posts...computer glitch here.
There are so many to choose from! I have the Dorlands pocket medical
dictionary in print but I'm getting a PDA from hubby for Christmas
and my oldest daughter was asking me what I wanted so....
Any suggestions? She's a college student so nothing too exorbitant.
TIA,
Lorraine

Skyscape has both Stedman's & Taber's Medical dictionaries for $49.95 each: http://skyscape.com/EStore/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=482
There's a company I've never heard of Lexi-comp http://www.lexi.com/lexistore/marketing/prodinfo/palmos/HHSTEDM000000/index.jsp that has Stedman's for $35.00 but it's not complete (48,000 terms vs. 102,000). Also the skyscape full version has Greek/latin roots and latin for anatomy. I wish Taber's had that, I would definitely use that feature. I already use the roots in Taber's but having the latin for anatomy would be a nice added feature. I remember terms better when I know the roots...
Anyway, I'm blathering on... I'm very happy with Skyscape products and they have very good customer service. I would go with the Taber's or Stedman's through them even if you need to pitch in some dough.
