Hi -

I'm new here and looking for some input on Medical Decision support systems.

Do any of you use medical decision apps? Other sources?

I've heard of UpToDate and Dynamed. Are these commonly used?

Thanks for any input!

MunoRN - thanks for the thoughtful reply! Your example points out exactly what it is that i *hope* would be happening in most medical settings. I fear that you are the exception and not the rule. It sounds like UpToDate is pretty useful, but interesting that my mother who works in NICU has never even heard of it. I'll take a look at the Cochrane resource you suggested.

Many thanks

Thank you for clarifying. I use Up To Date, Medscape, Epocrates, and ACEP primarily, not necessarily in that order. I have a free subscription to Medscape that is easy to access on my smart phone, and I have access to Up To Date through my workplace.
