Yeah, I received it too. Doesn't surprise me though they probably fill all the specialties with the first cohort and entice us that comes after the first cohort with "offering" specialized positions then hit you with "we don't have it" "heres what we have". Just in my opinion/observation. They did offer Louisiana with the specialties I did want but at this point medical city isn't on my radar anymore and I'm not moving to Louisiana.

Yes, very disappointed as well. Does anyone know when they might be sending out interviews for the positions that they do have available?

Hey guys:) I'm putting together a spreadsheet to send out to the younger cohorts at my school with information about residencies in Texas. I'm looking for information about base pay, differentials, pay increases, sign-on bonuses, etc. so if you've accepted an offer from a hospital at Medical City (or any other hospital in the DFW) & would like to share your salary information so I can include it — you can comment or PM me. Here's my current list if you're curious & if there are any discrepancies that you know of let me know.

I got offer for Medical City ICU, BMT and Oncology with 33$ base pay and 10000$ retention bonus.

Has anyone every accepted an offer and received a better one, then told the first one no after saying yes?

 I'm eager to work as a new nurse in a hospital setting, but considering I'd be moving to Texas and having to go through the process of transferring everything (getting a Texas nursing license endorsement, etc), I want to make sure it's really a good move before deciding.

Anyone moved to do the residency for Medical City in DFW? If so, truly, how is it?
