Has anyone taken the med surg certification exam? Can anyone share their study resources or sample questions? thank you ?

I didn't take that particular certification exam, but used quizlet to study for another. If you go to that website, type "medical-surgical nurse certification" in the search bar, scroll down a bit, and you'll find several sets of flashcards for the exam.
