Can anyone please help me I have these problems with the answers but I can't figure out how to get some of them.

Order: normal saline 120ml IV to run at 20 mL/hr

Drop Factor: 60 microdrops/mL

Total time of Infusion:__________hours (6 hours, 20 gtt/min

Drug Available: tagment 300 mg/2mL, 8mL multi-dose vial

Set and Solution: Drop factor 60gtt/mL

Instruction Dilute drug in 100 mL of D5W and infuse over 20 minutes

Calculate the rate:________ (300 gtt/min)

Order: oxacillin 1g IV every 6 hours

Drug available: oxacillin 1g

add 5.7 ml of dilutent = 6ml per 1g

Set: use an infusion pump

Instruction: Dilute in 50 mL of d5W and infuse over 15 minutes

Calculate the rate of infusion:__________ (224ml/min)

120ml * x hrs = 6 hrs (gtts has nothing to do with this question)

100ml * 60 minutes = 300ml/hr (the rate you program the pump)

20 min[color=white]...[color=white]. 1 hr

100ml * 60gtts = 300gtts/min

20 min[color=white]..... 1 ml
