I am attempting to get into an LVN program and in the event I don't get in, I wonder if I should take Medical Assisting. I am currently a CNA/HHA. I have heard that the Medical Assistants don't make much over Min wage as new grads. I'm in Southern California, any input out there?
It depends what you want to do, if you want to be a nurse get your LPN/RN, if you want to work as a jack of all trades in a physcians clinic then an MA would work. The beauty of getting your LPN is you can do either :)
