Has anyone gone through the process of obtaining a RN temp and endorsement license as an out of state applicant. I will be in MD on 6/3 and wanted to try and apply while there.

For those who need this thread later, I am an out of state endorsement applicant and was able to show up in person to get fingerprinted at the cjis place in Baltimore and then go to the BON office and talk to them. I got my temp number the next day!

Hi there, I am in the same process to get the license from Maryland through endorsement. Did you get your permanent license already? How was the process? The place that you went to get the fingerprints is the one that is in the same place where the BON is located? Thank you so much!

I went through this process last year.. VERY ANNOYING! It got to the point where I was calling BON everyday for status updates. Getting the temp license was fairly easy and didn't take long at all. BON and the fingerprint place are in this run down looking mall in catoonsville/baltimore (somewhere on the city line). As for getting the perm license, MD BON claimed they never got my paperwork (2 months after I sent it).. so I had it faxed to them and called everyday to ask about it. Got it taken care of within a week after I started that. lol. Stay on them.
