MD Anderson GN Residency Summer 2015

Hi everyone!

This thread is for anyone applying to MD Anderson for the Graduate Nurse Residency starting in Summer 2015. I have my panel interview coming up next week. If anyone has any thoughts or information feel free to share. Good luck!

Good luck guys! I had my panel interview today. I was wondering if anyone could remember the names of the interviewers?

I actually can't remember the names of my three interviewers, I was so nervous whenever I walked in. How do you feel your panel interview went? I couldn't tell if they liked me or not... :(

I feel the exact same way! I got a different vibe from each of them which makes me nervous. I just don't know who to send a thank you to if I cant even remember their names... any suggestions?

You can try finding them on LinkedIn but that seems tedious especially if you have nothing to go on. I tried to glance at their name tags but I couldn't focus. It was difficult to concentrate on answering their questions especially when they were writing down everything you were saying.

To be honest I don't exactly know how to feel about that interview. They were taking notes about me the whole time. At one point one one of them was like.."that's a good response" but I couldn't tell if she was throwing major shade or genuinely liked my response lol you guys, I'm so glad that was over. Also you know how they were taking notes the whole time? I quickly glanced towards the end and they rate each of our response because I know one of the box was checked and it says "good" next to it. well that was intense to say the least. But I did my best, leaving it God. If it's for me, it's for me.

Were you able to get any information to send a thank you note to anybody? Maybe they are not very important I just thought I would look into it. From the way it sounds, your interview went pretty good though!!

When did you guys apply and hear back from MDA? Is the residency position still open?

Hey guys! I also applied and had a panel interview lasat week... still waiting to hear back? did they tell y'all how long before they would let us know something?

They told me to expect to hear back in 2 weeks, so maybe we will hear something this coming week!
