Is anyone applying to Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for the second degree BSN program in Manchester?

hey i applied to the accelerated bsn program in manchester for fall start 2010 and i found out i was accepted! will you be applying or have you been accepted? what other programs are you looking at?

I applied for fall 2010 and I'm still waiting for a reply. I'm also looking at Marymount in Arlington, VA. Wish me luck! When did you send in your application? I sent mine in a few months ago, but my transcripts were just sent out last week. I'm not sure if my professors have turned in my recommendation letter so I'm really worried about that...

good luck with your applications! I waited to send my online application in until I knew my transcripts and recommendations were in. still- i also applied on the earlier side on Nov 3rd and I got my letter on Nov.6 saying that I was accepted. If I were you- I would email ***** *******- she is so nice and she is the assistant director of admission i believe and she is the person i met with over the summer to learn more about the school.....i emailed her this past fall to ask her if she had received my teach recommendations and my transcripts. if you email her, maybe she will be able to tell you what you have in and what you don't....that way you can talk to your teachers if they haven't sent in the recommendations....that's what i had to do. she is really nice. let me know what you find out! are you from around here? i'm from MA

Woo, they decide quickly. I just sent mine in on monday, I'm guessing by now they have very limited spots.

Have you gotten a decision yet?

Not yet, put I will certainly post when I do!

I found out I just got in!!!! I'm a little upset that they want a $500 nonrefundable deposit in just thirty days, I'll still be waiting to hear from other schools! But YAY!!! =)-

Yay! Congrats!

Metrogirl or anyone,

What do we know of the NCLEX pass rate for MCPHS?

I'm not from the MA/NH area are the clinical affliations good?

How is the rent for apartment/houses in Manchester?

I'm trying to decide if this is the school for me, I haven't heard from other schools yet but it would be helpful to figure out those more specific things, I guess should I be lucky enough to have a choice in schools. Thanks !

I'm not sure what the NCLEX pass rate is but Manchester was voted one of the best places to live by CNN or something. The rent is extremely cheap...like 300 dollars for one bedroom in a house...or $700 for one bedroom in a 2 bedroom luxury apartment.
