MCC Omaha TEAS/GPA TO Get Accepted

U.S.A. Nebraska

Hi! I'm considering applying to MCC's LPN program. I'm curious if you've been accepted (or not) in the last year or two what your TEAS score and GPA were? Did you take the CNA course through Metro or elsewhere? Did you have the additional points added for API and APII? Thank you!

Graduated from their LPN program in May of 17 and from their RN program in May of 18. I don't recall right off my TEAS score, but I wanna say it was in the range of 77-79 ish..My GPA was 4.0 and yes I did have the additional points from the AP I and II. I know some of my classmates had slightly lower GPA, but they studied hard for the TEAS (I didn't study at all for it) and I believe scored higher on that than I did. I took my CNA through quality CNA. It was off like 108th and Fort or something, which was a LONG drive from my place in Bellevue. What I liked about it was that it was a quick class and relatively easy. I know majority of my classmates did theirs CNA through Metro or already had theirs from years ago.

They essentially give you a certain amount of "entry points" for your GPA + TEAS + additional points. If you have other questions I may be able to answer them as I just graduated this year.
