MCC 2/19/10 date & time stamps

U.S.A. Arizona

Did anyone else get their date and time stamp placement onto the waiting list today? If so, do you care to share what it is? I am still trying to figure out how this works.

8:02:28 sounds to me like it is number 228 out of the pool of applicants from Nov- Jan 31st. Does anyone else understand it to be this way?

The number you posted above is just the "Time" part of your date stamp. It goes Hours:Minutes:Seconds you need to also find your date portion of your Time stamp which would look like Month/Day/Year.

Hello. Everyone that got their date/time stamp on 2/19/10 has the same date stamp of 2/19/10.

You are right. The time is hours, minutes, seconds and looks like 08:02:28.

What I am wondering is if anyone know if this time stamp indicates number 228 from the particular pool of applicants from Nov - Jan. :D

You would have to know how many people applied in that time frame, however, this is how the process works: If you applied between Nov-Jan regardless of applying in Nov you could still get a Date Stamp for January because they mix them all up and then start assigning dates and times down the line. For instance I applied in September but my Date and Time stamp is for October, I have NO CLUE how many people are ahead or behind me from who turned in their applications Sept-Dec. Plus some people may drop out or go to a different school, so it's kind of a crap shoot to see when you'll get in based on various factors.

I tried to figure it out early on. Now I just wait and pray.

Hi folks,

From what I've been able to surmise, the date/time stamp seems to go by 4 second increments. I know a few people in the 2/19/10 pool, myself included, and everybody has a time in a 4 second increment so far. So that might not mean your "2:28" indicates 228 people ahead of you.

Probably doesn't help much.

Scott,

I like your theory! Based on an earlier post by someone, I was under the impression that there is an application for every second. If your theory proves true, I will allow myself to be hopeful again about being placed this time around. I have an October 2008 time stamp.
