Mcallen/Corpus Christi jobs

Hey, does anyone have any recent information on jobs in McAllen or Corpus Christi. I have lived in both areas for a little while, but never had any luck finding a hospital to hire me. I have a little over a year of LTC experience. Do most people still consider McAllen area an awful place to work.

The RGV (Rio Grande Valley) is a unique area. It's certainly not everyone's cup of java, but I would never say that everyone thinks it's "awful". If you move there based on unrealistic expectations, I am sure you will be disappointed, but that's going to happen no matter where you go. The key to a successful relocation is always to keep an open mind & appreciate the "new" rather than angst-ing about differences.
