Mayo Clinic vs Scottsdale Healthcare

Published

I currently work at Mayo Clinic and am thinking about applying to Scottsdale healthcare. I am currently an MA and working towards my RN. Does any one on here work at Scottsdale healthcare, if so how do you like it? Mayo is making a lot of changes in benefits ( for the worse) starting next year. I have looked at SHC current benefits but was wondering if there was any talk about those changing next year as well. I would also like to know if the salary is comparable to Mayo, and would like to know the salary range for MA's there.

If anyone can give me any information, I would appreciate it.

Thank you.

If you are in Mayo and about to become a RN you would be stupid to leave.

Give Mayo a couple of years as a RN and then leave, your options and career will be better for it.

Why do you think that? I have been there for some years now, and it appears to just be going down hill. It will still be a while until I am an RN, because of the waiting list.

Going down hill or not they are expanding and have a resume boosting reputation.

You would do well to put in a couple of years there as a RN.
