Mayo Clinic Summer Externship in Arizona 2015

Hello!

I finally got the news I received placement in the Mayo Clinic Nurse Externship for the hospital in Phoenix. I wanted to see if anyone else on here will be there as well? I was told there are 29 spots total! I got placed at 7W heme/onc floor for the dayshift.

I am so excited! I was an alternate for the Summer III program in Rochester, but to finally have a spot feels like a dream.

I live here locally so if anyone needs help with the area that is traveling, I can try to answer questions!

Is this a different program than the nurse residency program that begins in July? Is yours unpaid?

Yes this is an unpaid Externship from June 8-July 30th

Congrats to you! I'll be part of the externship program this summer as well... I'll be working nights on 2W (ICU). I'm local... about 30 minutes away, but it will be worth the drive!

I go to Mesa Community College & NAU (CEP fast track). I graduate Dec '15. How about yourself?
