Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency Spring 2021

Published

Hey guys! I haven't seen any threads on the Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency, Phoenix AZ for February 2021, so I thought I would start one ? I'm super excited to go through this journey! Does anyone know what the whole process is like and when people start hearing back?

Hi! I was waiting for someone to create a thread!

Hello! My application got forwarded to the hiring manager for review today. Good 1st step! So from what I've seen in previous threads is that the timing from applying, to getting an interview, to getting an offer has been about a month all together. If your app moves forward I would expect a call for an interview or a denial within the next two weeks.

Mine got forwarded too! Thanks for the info on the timing of everything! Does anyone currently have clinical at Mayo? If so, how do they like it?! I'm from out of state, so I love hearing about Mayo experiences

Applied from out of state as well!

Does anyone think we will hear something this week?

Got a call for an interview today! Hope you guys get one too.

Thats amazing! Congratulations. I emailed Karen, the recruiter, and she said there is no definitive time frame for the application process but they do follow up with all applicants about the status of their application. So continue to watch out for updates!

This is not specifically related to Mayo Clinic's program, but I'm applying from out of state and not that informed about the Arizona licensing process. Does the "RN/LPN Exam Fee and Licensure Fee" of $300 listed on the board of nursing website include the $200 fee to the testing company for NCLEX? For other states, the fee listed on the board website does not include the testing fee, but does Arizona actually cost $300+$200 for a license by examination? Other states seem to have that application fee to be closer to $100.

I also am applying from out of state and will continue to watch out for information on this topic. From my understanding, you do have to pay the licensure fee of $300 plus the testing fee of $200. I will let you know if I hear something differently though!

Hi group! Has anyone else heard anything about an interview or the status of their application? Mine still says under review so I'm wondering if that is a sign I should just move on or if anyone else is in the same boat. ?
