Hi everyone! For those who interviewed, have you heard anything back? I interviewed on the 10th of November and they told me they would extend offers the first week of December. I wanted to check in though because it has been a really long time!

Hello hello!! I actually had an interview on November 10th and they told me they were going to make decisions this upcoming week and extend offers the first week of December. So quite honestly I am not really sure what the rest of the process looks like on their end but I hope this information is helpful ?

I also am applying from out of state and will continue to watch out for information on this topic. From my understanding, you do have to pay the licensure fee of $300 plus the testing fee of $200. I will let you know if I hear something differently though!

Thats amazing! Congratulations. I emailed Karen, the recruiter, and she said there is no definitive time frame for the application process but they do follow up with all applicants about the status of their application. So continue to watch out for updates!

Ugh what a bummer. In the email it does say that they will update the status of the program through the Nursing information hotline. Do you think that means for future summers though or is there still a chance that things could get up and running again for this Summer?

ohhh okay I see. At my school it is 4 semesters and I started in Spring of 2019. So I am in my 3rd semester and I am considered a first semester senior as well. This semester we do Med-Surg II and in-patient psych/acute pediatrics. Half my cohort starts with Med-Surg II while the other half does the latter. I started with Med-Surg II and I am so happy that I did. At the start I was only taking one patient and by the end of my 7 week rotation I was taking on the full patient assignment. You grow alot through it. So I also completely feel for those who do not have the opportunity to do their Med-Surg II rotation right now. I am sad I don't have the chance to do acute pediatrics though.

^^^my thoughts exactly about feeling rusty when we come back! Are you guys in your second or third semester right now? The clinical adjustment is definitely interesting...my school still has not decided on what they are doing for clinical. I think we will send up doing a mix of simulations/case studies and zooming with our clinical instructors.

I know I really hope so too. I also was wondering that! I truly have no idea...I didn't ask! But yes, fingers crossed we are notified in the near future! Stay safe and stay healthy ?

Okay I see! I had my interview on 3/20. She said that was the last day of interviews so I bet they are making decisions this week and we will be notified this week or next. I am alright! I go to school in WA state but I am back at home in AZ as all of my classes and clinical are online as well. It is definitely an adjustment but I am trying to find the silver linings in all of this. When I spoke with the nursing coordinator on the phone for my interview, she said that as of right now they are still carrying forward with the externship and will update us if anything changes.

Hey guys! I also had my interview this past week. They said we should hear back this week about further decision regarding placement. Has anyone received a call yet?! My portal also updated to say interview today. Has anyone else experienced this? Hoping the best for everyone, especially during this crazy time with all the coronavirus complications. Thanks!
