Mayo Clinic New Grad July 2016

Published

Hi guys! I just wanted to know if there was anyone out there that I applied to the Mayo Clinic (Phoenix) New Grad program that starts July 2016? I already had an interview for med/surg at the beginning of April and they said it would take a least a month to decide. It has almost been a month and I'm starting to get a little anxious. I just wanted to see if anyone is out there who also is waiting to hear back? Or if anyone has gotten a call back already? I would love to hear from others that interviewed! :)

My friend interviewed last week and was told it would be about 3 weeks. Expect offers to be made about a 1.5-2 months before the program starts. That's about their norm. So since it starts mid July, offers will likely be made somewhere around the middle to end of may

Oh ok, I didn't realize they were still doing interviews! I guess I just have to be a little more patient. ha

They get over 500 applications each cycle and usually interview something like 75 ish applicant fro roughly 30 positions. But I'm sure that's a little different each time.

But it if it makes you feel better, they haven't started making offers as far as my friend knows because she was told they would be finishing up interviews this week.

Hi! I think I'm the friend that was mentioned in the post above! I interviewed on April 22nd and was told it would take three weeks. The week following my interview was their last week for interviews. She said the following week they would make their selections, and the third week (which is this week!) HR would be calling with offers. Did you get an email about your criminal history from mayo?
