Hi everyone!
I will be graduating in May and am working on my first application for graduate school. This program is online, part-time, and takes approximately 3 years to complete. I have 2 years experience floating as a Patient Care Intern (CNA role) and participated in a 9-week externship on an ICU step-down unit this past summer. I value this program because of the length of time it gives me to gain experience as an RN while continuing my education to achieve my professional goals.
Any tips for how I, as a "to-be" fresh BSN graduate, can prove I am a competitive applicant?
There is also one question that I wonder how I should answer - "how will this program help you achieve your professional goals"...I want to say something about giving me the opportunity, etc. but do not know how to express it appropriately?
PS - this program does not require minimum experience and students currently completing their BSN can apply as long as their degree and license will be complete/ready by the first day of classes this fall.
Any advice would be greatly appreciate! Thank you!

I am also applying for the FNP program for fall 2014. I have completed one application and waiting to hear, but am also in the progress of completing a second application. You can say something like the experience I obtain here will give me to tools needed to be better able to assess and treat my patients.
