I am currently an undergrad student majoring in Psychology. I entered college as a Nursing major and completed all of the preqs required to enter the nursing program. However, due to a rough start in college, i couldnt bring my GPA to the 2.75 required. Ive always had an interest in psychology as well, so I switched my major in hopes of improving my GPA so that I can apply for ABSN programs after obtaining my BA.
Ultimately, my interest lies in Non-Profit Organizations. I have a strong interest in the Social Work aspect of Maternal/Infant Services as well as the Nursing Aspect. I definetly want a MASTERS degree, but I want to do BOTH. I would love to be involved in mutiple aspects within this area of healthcare. Ive heard that Social Work can be a very Flexible career. And considering my interests, I fel like a social work degree can complement my nursing degree. My goal is to open my own Non-Profit Org.
Has anyone obtained two masters degrees? One in Nursing and additional masters in another field? Or has heard of anyone who has done so???
