I read on massasoit web site that you can transfer in 10 courses, I have all my pre-reqs done for bristol community ans fisher college which is more then 10 course plus I also have my LPN to transfer in for the lpn-rn bridge program. I dont want to go through the trouble of applying for the bridge program if Im going to get denied for to many credit transfers. Does anyone know any thing about this?

The maximum number of transfers is 35 credits. If over in transfer credits, student is required
to retake courses at Massasoit. LPN-RN applicants have this problem a lot as they transfer a
minimum of 16 credits from LPN school. That leaves them with 19 credits towards the maximum of 35 credits allowed to be transferred to Massasoit.
yeah that stinks but will My application be rejected? Or will they just accept some credits and I can take the easy ones over again. I don't want to take the teas if I don't have to I wanted to apply for next year. I am going to apply at BCC for next yr that's where I did all my pre-reqs. I have 16/25 points but my gpa is only 3.02 so I'm hoping that I can get in, I have all classes but nursing done. I'm not going to psych myself up, but I'm praying I can get in.....
I highly doubt your application would be rejected. If anything, they would tell you the classes that would have to be taken over (if any at all) It's worth a shot, seeing that it is a very competitive program all around so the more schools that you apply to the better. Also, you only have to take the reading portion of the teas @ massasoit. Good luck! I hope you get accepted =)
