Massasoit LPN to RN part time FALL 2021

Hi guys!

Figured I would create a forum for the Fall 2021 LPN-RN part time evening program application cycle. Does anyone know when we should expect to hear from admissions office regarding decisions?

I did receive my acceptance letter today! I am thrilled. Since I have not attended classes at Massasoit in a long time, I have to attend a new student orientation prior to registering. All of my transfer classes have not been logged into Degree Works.

Thank you.  I emailed my advisor earlier. I'm so ready to just get signed up LOL

I haven't gotten my letter or any emails yet but my degree works major changed to LPN to associate degree part time

SJA I haven't got my letter yet either, but my degree works changed, but I did have an email to log into canvas to do new student orientation even though I have been taking classes there since last fall, just waiting on my letter

I got my letter this afternoon! Yours will probably come today too!

Spoke with an advisor he said we are unable to sign up for classes at the moment. He has to email the Dean the class doesn’t look available to “add”. 

does anyone else’s degree works say they need nursing E? My friend told me the first class is nursing A but the advisor said it was nursing E. Just a little confused

They told me today the class was unavailable to sign up for , he’s messaging the Dean! 

But it should be nursing A

Mine says I need nursing I,II, & III-E because they have not uploaded any of my LPN courses over onto degreeworks yet. But we get credit for them and don’t have to take them at MCC. We start off at nursing A

The advisor I'm emailing with seemed to be no help. I'm going to try to do a zoom meeting tomorrow with an advisor and get some answers. Does anyone know if we need CPR or do we need BLS. This whole process could of been easier if they just sent us a packet  of what we need.

It is a bit concerning after receiving such late acceptance letters in early July and being in the dark. I think we will get more information soon, as we have a lot to do. CRP, Vaccination records, orientation, nursing orientation, cori/sori, books, uniforms... I am already a little anxious.

do any of you guys have facebook? We could create a group! That's what I did with my old LPN class. It was super helpful. My name is Sara Augustine ?

Sara, I just friend requested you (at least I hope it was you ?). I like the idea of a facebook group. We had one for my LPN program too and it helped a lot, especially since we’re all going to be having a lot of questions over the next month or so. I can make one if you guys want!
