Massasoit LPN to RN part time FALL 2021

Hi guys!

Figured I would create a forum for the Fall 2021 LPN-RN part time evening program application cycle. Does anyone know when we should expect to hear from admissions office regarding decisions?

Does anyone know if they will round up on rubric score?

From what I wrote down from the info session, they accept 36-40 LPNs for the part time evening program. That could of course vary depending on available seats, etc. I also wrote down that last year the highest part-time LPN-RN rubric score was a 71 and the lowest was a 51. These both were also out of 79 points, as last year there was an extra 6 points for the letter of interest

This is good information! That’s a lot of seats so I’m feeling a little bit relieved LOL June cannot come fast enough

Does anyone know what schedule would be like? I know they mentioned it in info session but I can't seem to find

I thought they said one day of lecture, which could be remote or in person, but if you search courses for the fall it appears to be remote still, then a day of lab and a day of clinical, and I want to say they said not always having lab

Yes I believe It was Tuesday nights after 4:30 was class, Wednesdays after 4:30 were labs, and then I didn’t have anything written for clinical, I just wrote that it varies. I’m sure that probably changes though

I emailed admissions and got the following response:

"We expect letters to go out towards the end of June. We are finalizing the freshman nursing and will soon start reviewing the LPN to RN files."

That seems so far away. They must have alot of applications to go through.

Nothing has changed on my side yet. I heard June is when we will find out im really hoping that's not true. The wait is killing me.

They are finishing final exams soon. We still have to wait for about a month.

My degreeworks was audited the other day but I just finished a class there and they added my grade so I know it wasn’t related to any of the nursing stuff. Classes don’t end until Monday the 17th so I’m planning on it being a while before we hear anything! I would assume towards the end of June likely ?
