Has anyone else applied for the fall of 2020 full time program? How’d you do on your teas? Are you feeling confident with your rubric scores? I’m so nervous!!

Hi everyone! CONGRATS on your acceptances. I’m applying for the program next Spring, I was curious if anyone knew if I could be taking a pre-req course and still apply in the Spring! I will be taking A&P 2 in the Spring after I’m finished with a&p1 this fall. I was just curious if I could apply if I was in-progress with prerequisites or not. It would be my last pre-req I need for the program.

They will not allow an in progress pre req.

In progress classes won’t apply to the rubric. Have you looked into taking A&PI as a Summer 2 course? I’m not sure if they’re offering it this year due to Cov-19, but I took it last Summer as a 30 day course. Then I took A&PII in the fall.

what you could also possibly do is take A&P 2 during wintercession-if its offered, its faced paced but this way you won't have to worry about whether or not it will be counted in your rubric. remember the higher your rubric score, the better chance you have, so try to get all your classes done with the best grades you can.

I took Statistics this past Spring semester and have been accepted into the Part time evening program. When I looked at my degree works, my Statistics course was counted as my Math Prerequisite and I received the points on my rubric for it. I would call and ask to see if they will count it on your rubric because AP2 is tough and I would recommend taking your time so you can get the best grade possible.

I finished A&P 2 this past Spring semester and got into the part time program for this upcoming fall. They didn’t make their decisions until after final grades were posted. I’m not sure if they wait for grades to be posted for the full time program though. I believe they make their decisions a little before the part time program. So it may depend on which one you are applying for. Good luck to you!
