Thanks

Haven't attended Maryville but looked into them. I'm not sure what your question is?? Are u concerned being an ill resident and getting to practice in Ill.. There should be no problem. When u get to the clinical portion u should be able to locate an ill preceptor and still in the end practice in ill. When u find a preceptor, the school and preceptor will have to make a contract. I had a few coworkers do the adult there and had no complaints.
Yes that is my question I wanted to stay a Kaplan and do their program but they are not accredited in IL yet. Do your coworkers live and work in IL?
No they're in Missouri
IL is so strict about their nursing that I want to be sure all my i's or dotted and my t's crossed

Hi there!
Maryville University is accredited by the CCNE and MO Nursing Board. Nursing Boards only accredit the the local nursing program of their State not other States. CCNE is National certification agency for APNs. I would highly doubt that Maryville University FNP program will not be accepted in IL. As a matter of fact, the admission dept is located in the State of IL.
Hope this helps. Fill out the online form on the university's website and a admission rep will contact you and provide you with additional information.
Regards,
Frontier is accepted in IL work with a few nurses that went there. Thanks for the info appreciate it!
