Hi, Lavin'a!
I also was accepted into MU's second degree BSN program & will be attending in the fall.
Congrats on getting in & welcome to our cohort!
We've talked about setting up a Facebook group for our class soon, so hopefully that will help us stay in contact over the summer. Are you local to the NoVa area, or will you be coming from out-of-state? What did you study in your previous degree?
I am local, although I originally hail from the Midwest & was an biological anthropology/forensic science student, for both my undergrad & grad work (sadly, I left before finishing my M.F.S./Ph.D.). I am also the busy mom of a beautiful little girl, who will turn one this May.
From what I gather so far, we should be getting more info about scheduling in mid-May & our formal orientation is on Aug. 25th, just before classes start on Aug. 27th.
Again, congratulations & nice to meet you!

I was accepted as well! Does anyone know when the oreintation starts? Also has anyone started the financial aid process?
I just received an email today with instructions for choosing our fall schedule & clinical locations/days. Has everyone else gotten this, too?
It is a ranking system (put your most preferred time first, etc.) but I'm not sure how big each clinical group is, or how they eventually decide who gets placed where. My biggest fear--classes & clinicals on the same day--isn't shown as a possibility, thank goodness!
The message also detailed our uniform requirements & where we can get them (Lynford Uniforms in Fairfax, VA).
I'm excited things are being finalized & coming together for next semester. :)

Hi guys! First of all, congratulations on getting accepted to Marymount! I am a prospective student looking to apply and was wondering if you could tell me about your experience at Marymount with the program and the professors and everything in between? Also, what did your academic statistics look like? Any advice would be more than appreciated!
