I didn't see a thread for MBU 2025, so figured I would start one! Good luck to everyone!

First year is all didactic with some in person stuff, then you relocate. Second year is clinical and some stuff at the school and I think third year is all clinical from what I remember seeing on this thread

Awesome! I am in such shock. Now the fear of failing is setting in! Congratulations to everyone.

Got in as well! Does anyone know if we can work the first few semesters?

Was anyone able to get the technical standards form to download? Mine keeps popping up an email...

I emailed Lindsay and she said they're having technical issues with it showing up as an email and will resend it once it's fixed!

I think they said part time the first year and then no

We should make a Facebook group for everyone accepted! 🙂

So found out an old new grad coresident is in the program! First year is online, all didactic, she did work part time. Second year you rank where you want to do clinicals, but I believe she does have to do some travel back and forth to VA.

Hello, everyone. Congratulations on Getting in!

I was actually clearing some of my emails and saw a notification asking for information on the program. Im a little late, but hey. I am part of the inaugural cohort and will be graduating this August! Been a long road but im glad to be here. I can answer any questions you may have. I can also send in a Google Meet link if you wanted to ask any questions. Interested in that, I can set a link up for 7pm EST tonight and anyone would be welcome to jump on and fire away.

Hey thanks for offering to answer questions! I'm still at work so I can't tune in. Can you talk about financial aid and how it's been navigating that?

No, Problem. From my understanding, people have tackled financial aid in a combination of ways. Some took out the full amount of aid each year, which I believe as around 80k per year (50K for tuition and the rest for living expenses), and some did not take out much d/t savings. It's quite simple to set up financial aid.

Congrats to all of you who were accepted! Question - in your acceptance email, did they say you have to respond by a certain time frame?

I was waitlisted so I am just curious about what my time frame looks like to wait and see if I am accepted or not? I have never been waitlisted before so I am also not sure how that works if someone wants to give me any insight I would greatly appreciate it!

You have to accept by April first! Let's create a Facebook group!

Once you all have created a FB group, Post the title of it here, and I can send a request to the group. From there, I can post a link for people to join. I can try to do two sessions (one during the day, one during the evening) so that everyone has a chance to join at least one of them. I have free time throughout this week so just let me know. If you feel like the FB group won't be up and running soon then I don't mind posting a link here and we can figure out best days and times to have the session.
