Marquette Direct Entry MSN 2020

Published

Hi guys! I did not see a forum for Marquette Direct Entry MSN 2020 and thought I would start one! Anyone else applying?

I was accepted to the Pleasant Prairie site for Spring 2020 this past Wednesday and I'm looking to connect with other students! Is the facebook group still active? I sent a request if someone wants to approve it ?

I haven't been able to get much past "it varies" as far as how often we'll be at clinicals/simulations/labs each week. I'll be commuting from Chicago and would love to hear what you've all heard about the program.

Hey ChicagoRN2021, I am also from IL, what's your name on Facebook?

The page is called Marquette Direct Entry MSN!

Hello everyone,

I was also accepted to the pleasant prairie campus. I am from IL as well. Hoping to connect with other students too.

I originally applied for Sping 2020 but then got an email saying the class has reached capacity, so I was "recommended for admission" for the Fall 2020. I don't know what "recommended" means and has anyone of yall got the same email ? Does it mean I would be accepted or my application will be deferred to the next Fall 2020 review cycle ?

Hey y'all,

Congrats to anyone who has gotten accepted to Marquette!!

I just applied on Friday, Dec. 6th for the Milwaukee Summer 2020 program. Does anyone know the timeline of finding out decisions at all? All I have seen on their FAQs is that decisions go out through Mid-March...really hope I don't have to wait that long, but I know I submitted quite late.

Hey! I don't think you will have to wait that long. My application was verified the last week of november and I got my acceptance for Milwaukee December 20. Is marquette the only school you applied to? If not, a late reply from marquette might benefit you. Marquette gives you about a month to put a nonrefundable $500 deposit down and this can become tricky if you're still waiting for replies from other programs. In my case, as well as another student I saw posting, we will have to put our Marquette deposit down before we hear back from other programs. There is another forum for just the Milwaukee program if you want to check that out:
