It is hybrid and you will need to live near the PP campus at least because we are required to do labs, simulations, and exams at the PP location (1-3x per week). Also, Clinicals are within a few minutes, and no further than 2 hours from PP. We start with 1 clinical per week in the first semester, from what I understand. All main resources or in Milwaukee, such as the library and admin offices. I’m moving from Texas and looking around Racine or Kenosha, preferably.

Once we finish the MSN program and graduate, do we go straight to the chosen specialty or we have to work for one year as an RN before going back for the certification? if so, do we need to apply again for the program?
I’m curious about this too. When I first spoke with my advisor, about a year ago, he mentioned that some people apply for the certification/NP portion in their 4th-5th semesters. I’m going to ask for further clarification during out next call in two weeks. The website is not very clear on this portion. I do know we have to apply for any of the certifications.

Seems like you been interested in this program for a while lol. Btw, it'd be awesome if we can go straight to NP portion without interruption. Also, im from Dallas so we quite having the same circumstance ??

Hi Everyone! My name is Jess and I was just accepted into the August 2019 PP Program! I'm so excited to start - I've been combing the internet for anyone who has previously attended this direct entry program for tips and that's how I stumbled up on this! I am looking forward to meeting you all :)
