hello there everyone! newbie on the threads here! so, i am thinking of getting my bsn, and i already have a bachelors degree[/url] so naturally, the absn programs around indianapolis draw me. i went in to see marian university for st. vincent health last week for an appointment to talk about my transcripts and stuff. does anyone know anything about this program? it seemed like there were some good things about it, but i figured i would check with some other people that may have heard about it or even talked to them? they said it is done online and the clinicals are done for st. vincent health hospitals, which is awesome, because i know that they have a good reputation in the city. and i guess it woudl be good to have the opportunity to be able to do my homework after i come home from broad ripple if it came down to it (even though i might not do so well on it lol) :-) i also was looking around on here for similar programs that have that online-and-hospital format, and saw there are some programs in california (which is actually university of oklahoma, weird) and people like them. also, they said they have no waiting lists! from the other programs i have been looking in to, if you aren't a valedictorian, it is super hard to get in. no waiting lists is great for me because i want to start as quickly as i can!
so, if anyone has heard anything, or knows anything about the program, please reply! i am ready to get started on becoming a nurse!
thanks!
if you want to check out the website for this program, it's www.marian.edu/stv most of the information about it is on there.
