Anyone applying to Marian university CRNA 2019

I was told it's very laid back, "get to know you" type of questions. Followed by a test, but I don't know anything about it. Have you heard anything else about it or had your interview yet?

Hi guys! I survived my interview at Marian. What did you all think of it? Has anyone been accepted yet or is it the first week of December? Anyone know the number of total applicants or how many interviewed?

I had my interview last week. The interview was what I expected. The second week of December is what I was told during my interview. There is no early acceptance. I was told over 100 people applied by one of the interviewers but not sure how many people interviewed. Good luck!

Just found out I was accepted. Anyone else?

Yes! I accepted today!

Congratulations MosAnn1216 and Coco1234. I found out that I was not accepted on Tuesday. It was pretty much soul crushing. Good luck in the program.

@MosAnn1216 @Coco1234 I am looking at applying for the 2020 program! Was wondering your advice on the process/ interview! Also, how is the program since i know it is a fairly new program.

Hi everyone,

I applied to the Marian CRNA this program and have been extended an interview. As I do not know anyone who as applied and having a difficult time finding info on this program, I though reaching out might be my best option. I was hoping for some insight on what to expect on interview day and what type of questions might be asked! I do not need specifics, but any information that could help me prepare would be very appreciated. thank you!

I interview there last year. It was unimpressive honestly. The facility is extremely outdated and the newness of the program really shows. We had the opportunity to talk to students and the lack of detail behind class structure and the small amount of clinical sites stuck out big time. Obviously you want to get into CRNA school, but I would use this solely as interview experience. Even if you were to get in, this is not a school you would want to attend. Use this as a practice run honestly. As far as setup, there’s a panel interview with a clinical scenario (mine was a code), followed by a written exam (which was very difficult). Good luck!

LOL, but did you get in though?

Laid back, study your CCRN stuff. Interview style is different because there are different directors.

@Coco1234 and @MosAnn1216 congrats on getting accepted! I am applying this next cycle, do you mind sharing your stats? Thank you!
