Hey everyone! I recently got accepted to Marian University ABSN in Nashville, Tennessee. I wanted to get people's thoughts? Worries? Also, what are people doing about housing?

Hi! I am currently in the program and am graduating soon. The first semester you will report 3 times a week. It is typically Mon-Wed with Monday being a half day, but expect to have exams Monday afternoons sometimes. Also you will have to go to campus for exams that fall on Thursdays or Fridays sometimes as well. In the second semester you just have your med surg clinical once a week and mental health clinical 4 times during the semester, plus test days. The third semester you have two clincals a week. Med surg 2 clinical the entire semester and OB for half the semester and Pediatrics the other half of the semester. The fourth semester will depend on how you schedule your immersion experience.

Hi! I am currently in the program, and I like it. I think the program is what you make of it. There will be a lot of independent learning required, and I think some people struggle with this. Some people want an instructor to hold their hand and tell them everything instead of doing their own research and learning (all the info you need is in the materials/texts). In my opinion, that is where the bad reviews come from.
