Thank You! but i haven't contacted any Colleges yet. Where is your location sickandtired? What part in Canada? You have anything to share to me what kind of references should i look best to study? Thank u!
Hi blue, I am in BC, and unfortunately wrote the exam back in the dark ages when you had to write 5 exams... medicine, surgical nursing, peds, OB, and psych. Took 3 days and you were about dead by the time it was done
Most of the nurses I work with tell me they use the CRNE prep guide, Mosby's and some NCLEX prep guides. Here is a link to CNA. http://www.cna-nurses.ca/cna/
Your provincial college may be able to tell you if there are any study groups in your area through a local chapter, if there is a local chapter.
Good luck :wink2:
Your best bet for references to study from are to purchase the texts the university is selling to their fourth year students to prepare them for the exam. You could also contact Red River College I think they offer a refresher program for international nurses that have come to Manitoba, this may be a great thing to help you prepare for your exam.
Good Luck, I hope I have been of some help.
