Manhattanville College ABSN Spring 2024

Hello everyone, 

just created this thread so we can all share questions, ideas , stats and program clinical placements for the Spring 2024. Anyone from previous cohort can all share their experience about the program! Thank you and Goodluck! 

Congrats everyone who got in! Has anyone heard anything on what the clinical sites are first semester, or what days we can choose between?

Honestly I have no idea, I just know that we have to be ready for the spot that we like before it gets taken. Lauren stated that the days can go up to Sunday (but rarely people go that day). Is anyone making a long commute? I'm from Long Island.

The clinical days have been posted. Ugh I def do not want that Saturday slot. I'm also traveling far. Manhattan.

Also, does anyone know if their is a facebook group or some chat that other students are communicating besides on here?

I just looked at it. Saturday is a big No for me haha. I wish I knew if there was a chat or group besides this one as well. Has anyone started their Complio? or whatever it's called

I started mine. All that's left is to submit my stuff from my doctor. Everything else is done.

That's good to hear. I still have a few things left and then I'm alright. If you don't mind, what private loan companies have you looked at. I'm still deciding which would be the best.

Yeah I had discover for my degree. I've heard of Sallie as well. I feel so nervous with those textbooks OMG this is going to be a ride.

Yeah I heard we might be using coursepoint so all the textbooks will be online via ebook. This will indeed be crazy.

Has anyone purchased textbooks yet? If you have - are you getting them from the bookstore and does anyone know if we get a physical book for health assessment and fundamentals , or if it's just online?

Hey Everyone!

I am looking to apply to the Fall 2024 ABSN program and was wondering if Manhattanville accepts prerequisites completed online or are they all required to be in person?

@jules12451253 are the textbooks posted online yet? I know for findementals since we are using coursepoint, the book will be included in the package which will be an ebook. 

@Molly Brett yes, Manhattanville accepts pre reqs done online! So you will be good!
