Sigh...so my hospital is joining the sheep and going to mandated scrub colors. They are saying they do not have to provide any scrubs free of charge even though it is a requirement.
I think it's stupid that housekeeping and unit secretaries wear scrubs....a hospital I was at recently had the PARKING LOT ATTENDANT in scrubs. Save them for people who actually do patient care!
On the other hand, an LTC i go to for clinicals had EVERYONE in polo tops and khaki pants, color coded. I felt like that was silly; it made them all look like target/best buy employees rather than health care professionals
