If I were interviewing you for a supervisory position, I would ask your qualifications for the position and why you have a passion for women services (antepartum). Behavioral interviewing is the new thing out there that all leadership teams are being encouraged to look at. So, they may give scenarios to you and have you give an example from your own career as to what was the scenario, your actions, your result for the unit. I would ask what quality improvement items you were involved with in during your career and what do you see as a struggle for the floor in which you work and how you would want to change that. I would ask you how you help make your patients and coworkers satisfied during your shift and what you believe are some evidence based practices that you would want to see implemented in a unit you were to work in surrounding patient satisfaction. I have heard those items mentioned several times during interviews and I believe they are important to know before I were to hire someone.
