Malcolm X Nursing Program - Chicago, Spring 2020

Published

Anyone Applying for this Spring Term? I'm so lost on how the Nursing Department is processing all submissions -- and the office has not been helpful in giving clear instructions. Anyone else who has completed this process have any tips? My biggest fear is having all requirements turned in and they are not processed.

Just to be on the safe side, get shoes that are either totally black or totally white. Thats what the email says. Or you can call them and ask?

Also, everyone, I got st joseph hospital at 6:30am on Thursdays. They could place you anywhere in the city tbh . Not everyone will go to the same site

@luna333 Did you section that included Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday? (Huda, Kipnis, and Duyungan)

Ah I didn’t get the email! When did you guys receive that?

I didn't either.

@scasis

Well i received the email that told me id be at st joseph on 12/20. Im sure everyone is getting the email on different dates. Im guessing ppl who were accepted first are notified of their clinical site first?

It sounds like it. My schedule states Thursdays are clinicals but it doesn't state the location.

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone is aware of the exact type of shoe to wear? I found a sales 50% on these and am seeing if anyone has white soles, or are you all going with all black?

The email says enclosed black or white leather shoes. Hope this helps.

Hello everyone,

Today I ran into someone at the uniform store today and she said that her orientation was on Jan 7th and I told her that mines was Jan 8th. I was wondering if you all had different orientation dates than the dates that I listed above?
