FINALLY got a response and it wasn't very informative:

"Once the background results are confirmed, I will let you know that the decision will be made by the Committee starting May 1, 2018."

Glad you finally got a response! So i guess we have about 2 painful months to find out if we got in! But i'm sure we will :)

Yeah, I'm still anxious as ever and hope they really do keep to that date!

Someone else also responded to my email, saying "City Colleges follows up with each agency to verify information submitted. That includes background data, medical documentation, and transcripts.

Please note that our program is very competitive and the Nursing Committee has to review all applications before a decision is rendered."

hello guys ,i had a question so all i need once im done with bio and chem is the co pre reqs,now from online it say that i can completed this before my 3rd semester of the program ,so that being said i can apply to the program before having this completed right?

You can apply once you have all the prereqs done, but I think most people suggest you finish all the coreqs before starting nursing 101

Would anyone happen to know if I finish up my CNA course by the end of July '18, there is a chance I am able to apply for Spring 2019? I was told I would have to finish my CNA prior to even applying so I wanted to be sure I shouldn't take another program into consideration and continue with my CNA so I can get into the Spring nursing program. TIA!

I would say most def since applications for spring isn't usually until Fall time! So if you're done in July, you should be just fine! But if you have other options, i'd apply/consider those too! It doesn't hurt! But you can always call to confirm that if you're done with your CNA by July 18', that you can apply for Spring term (i'm sure you'll be fine though!)

ALSO....

With prereqs...say Chem and Math, I would have to finish those prior to applying for Spring 2019? If I take those classes this Fall semester coming up will I not be able to apply WHILE taking these pre reqs?

I'm pretty sure you can only have ONE prereq left to complete when applying. So you'd have to take anything else over the summer

You are awesome! Thank you so much. I was actually planning on that. Leaving Chem for the Fall to not overwhelm myself. How was the CNA program?? If you don't mind me asking.

With that, I'd call and confirm if you can apply for spring since you have to take 2 classes in the fall. I know they can accept you conditionally, assuming you pass whatever class your taking the term before, but i'm not sure if there is a limit on how many you can take while applying to nursing school the next term. But call to confirm and if anything you can knock out one in the summer. I'd recommend Math in the summer as chemistry can be kind of brutal, especially if its at a faster pace!
