I recently got accepted into Malcolm X's LPN program, but I'm completely lost on what I'm supposed to be doing to get ready for the upcoming semester. I know they're supposed to be a drug test. I got an email with a code for it, but I have no idea where to go for the drug test and haven't been sent any information as to that.Â

also, I received an email saying that registration for classes would open on June 4 and that I would receive another email with details on how to go forward with that but I haven't received that email either. Does anybody know what I should be doing?
I'm hoping by the end of the week we'll know something, but I'd prefer today  😂

And thank you so much for recommending the uniform shop on Roosevelt. I ended up going there to get my uniforms. I ordered them on the website that they sent us in the email initially and they charged my card but never sent the uniform. I still took this day. I don't have a tracking number or anything. I think I'm gonna dispute the charge.

  Has anyone brought any study materials for the program course yet? I know the first semester is primarily Nursing Fundamentals, so I was thinking purchasing the Nursing Fast Facts study guide material either from tik toc shop or Amazon. What are some the materials or resources everyone will be using? I just want to be efficient a possible and pass the course.Â

Hey hey. I actually purchased that from TikTok when it was on sale. I haven't looked at it much yet though. And I have a couple of those "nursing success" type of books from various creators.Â
I've looked into Simple Nursing, NurseHub, and a couple other platforms, but I haven't subscribed to any just yet. I actually used Nurse Hub to help me with the TEAS.

Yes, I love simple Nursing. I've used that platform for the TEAS as well.
Hi, how were yall able to get into the Malcom X Lpn program? I spoke with an advisor but he told me to do medical terminology, A&P 1/2, and Microbiology. I took 3 out of the 4 pre reqs needed so I'm not sure if I should just do the ones above^ at my school now and then transfer..? Im trying to get into the Spring 26 programÂ
