make up?

I always wear makeup to work! About a year or so ago I quit wearing eye shadow but I always do foundation, blush, eyeliner, mascara and lipstick or gloss.

I am extremely pale and have horrible circles under my eyes (thanks, mom) and I don't look good without makeup.

I never wear make-up to work or anyplace else. When I was way younger I experimented with it and hated the way it looked and felt on my face, and it also tended to disappear very quickly. I tend to sweat a lot at work and can't imagine running around sweating all day with foundation and other stuff sliding around on my face.

I have never been an attractive person, I'm quite overweight, but people (patients and staff who don't know me) always think I'm about a decade younger than I am so at least my skin is okay for now.

I do maintain personal grooming and wear clean, unwrinkled scrubs. My hair is always in a tight pony or bun, don't know if that qualifies as a hot mess or not, but it is what it is.

I definitely know I get treated differently by people though. Both patients and MDs etc. I have a very good friend who is drop-dead gorgeous and she does wear a lot of makeup, hair is impeccable, the cutest, trendiest scrubs, and it's very curious for me to watch the attention she gets and how nice the MDs are to her and how nice some of the grumpiest patients are to her...

10 minutes:eek:. It takes me 10minutes or more for the makeup alone. Is your hair short or already looks done after just b eign washed? lucky you!

After I shower I leave my hair up in a towel (although its short, its very thick and tends to hold the water) I do my makeup and then take the towel off and my hair is close to being dry. Yes, it looks done after being washed but I do have to "do" it to keep it looking "done" all day..takes like a minute or two to dry/style it, a minute to spray it and mess with it..voila'..done. Seriously, shower, make up, hair and dressed in like 20 minutes total (10 minutes for hair and makeup and 10 minutes for shower and dressing) :)

I just put on clear lip gloss, no time in the morning to do make-up, maybe there's time but it's just not my thing. Sometimes though, I wear some kind of colored lip gloss but nothing too crazy. I always bathe, have clean well-groomed hair and have on well-ironed scrubs every time I show up at work. Never have heard/or had anyone complain about my looks...

I wear makeup to work every day. It makes me feel like I am ready for the day and awake! Hair and makeup is done in about 10-15 min max. It's basic and natural, just brings some color to my paleness!

I don't wear makeup, period.

Never could wear make until I discovered the joys of mineral makeup, now I always wear makeup I have really bad keratosis, my cheeks are horribly red from it, and the skin on my arms is dry and warty looking so I always wear long sleeves. So long as I wear makeup and cover my arms, I look like just fine.

I don't but that is because I am too lazy in the morning to put it on. I have to be at work at 6:45. It takes me 30 mins to get here. I wake up at 5:45 and it takes me about 10 mins to roll out of bed.. That leaves me with about 20 minutes to get ready. there is no time for make up. LOL
