hey does anyone currently work at one of the valley hospitals who could please please give me a heads up on how in the heck to get a job as an er tech......(with no experience). i just recieved my EMT-B in az and national registry and have been putting app after app in at jcl and banner hospitals and havent heard anything good. im really bummed. i start nursing school in jan 08 but i am without a job now and feel like i wasted my time, money, and sanity to get my emt certification! if anyone has a hook up or knows anything...i would be soo greatful! thank you guys!

I have a friend that works at Banner Baywood in the ED as a tech. If you want to PM me with the particulars, I'd be glad to get you in touch with her. She likes the working environment and she works nights/weekends mostly. She is also in NS so it's good experience. She, too, got her EMT before NS so it helps. Baywood is a busy place, especially in the winter, so I'm sure they'd love another applicant.
