Originally I started school as a psychology major 2 years ago. However, recently I decided to change my path to nursing! I am currently attending schoolcraft college(and have previously attended msu, and university of michigan dearborn). Well, at university of michigan dearborn I didnt do too well(took all psych classes). Anyways, I checked madonna's website, and it said you need a 2.5 recalculated gpa of core classes...what exactly are core classes? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Core classes are classes in math, English, natural science, and social science that make up the bulk of most academic curricula.
usually they include:
Math: Three to four years(algebra, geometry, calculus)
English: Four years(composition, literature, speech)
Social Sciences: Three years (history, sociology, psychology, political science, geography, economics
Science: Three years (earth science, biology, chemistry, physics)
