Macomb Community College Nursing Program 2025

Hello guys,

Thought I'd start a thread for all those MCC students that applied for the MCC Fall 2025 nursing.  I'm anxious and nervous I have a 3.8 GPA but did not do very well on the TEAS.

Hey!  Thanks for starting this, I also applied in January of this year and am anxious to hear back.  A 3.8 is a solid GPA, do you mind me asking what you got on your TEAS?  Do you have CNA experience?  I forgot how many points that counts for this year, but it's a new consideration for MCC that is definitely going to help a lot of people out!

Yes, the GPA is good, however, I took the TEAS last minute without much time to study and only scored 65. Not sure what my chances are... needless to say I'm nervous. The advisor at Macomb said that in 2024 the bottom 6  that got into nursing program were at 3.3gpa with 62.4 TEAS score.  So maybe there's still a chance,  not sure what the pool of candidates looks like this year.  As for the CNA I have my certificate but will only start work in March so they won't give you the 6 point credit without work experience.

Has anyone received an email or anything yet? I am so anxious and ready. Now that April is here I am hoping that we find out within the next few days. 😂

Last year acceptances were sent out on April 10, early morning via email around 6-7 am I heard. Letters were also sent out thru mail and arrived within those next few days.  
 

Someone said they are running behind this year. I hope not 🥲

Hi! I'm really nervous to find out if I got accepted. My GPA is 2.9 but I got an 86% on the TEAS. My GPA unfortunately dropped by having to take anatomy twice so I'm really anxious if I don't get in because of my GPA. Just anxiously waiting and checking my emails constantly LOL
