Well, another year means another time for more score updates. I am getting ready to take my HESI in a couple weeks to apply for the 2012 Nursing Program and I must say I am really beginning to get nervous! Thanks to their recent addition of HHSC-1040 (right before I was apply ) I am just curious how everyone did, and what was it like this year? I have no clue what to expect and I have been searching forever. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am really not worried about the Math or Grammar sections. I'm more worried about the Vocabulary, Reading, and A&P section that they added. Any advice would be great. I already have the Evolve HESI book that I have been reviewing from for the past couple of months. I'm still just really nervous.
I don't have a HESI score yet, but my GPA to apply for the program is: 3.925.
Again, any advice would be grand!
My gpa was like 3.431 or something. I know my total points were 90.875, so I am very confused on how they ended up ranking it. You're right, it doesn't make sense. I am going to the enrollment on center after the meeting on wednesday to triple check! But I'm with you, I am ready to start and move towards a 'real job'!Was your gpa a flat 3.4 or was it like 3.495, mine came with like 3.725 or something. If you had a 3.495 or something like that your score would be higher than mine and that would be why you were higher up, crazy how much that little of a difference would make though. Take a look at your letter and let me know what it says :)
What time is the orientation for those who got in? The alternates is in the early afternoon but when I went in to see where I was on the alternate list some lady (I don't think she knew what she was talking about) said "you will find out at your orientation because the people who don't show will be out and you will be moved up then" but I think all of yours is after the alternates. Sorry guys obsessing again :)

Ours is 8:30am. I hope you get good news tomorrow!
Getting a little anxious for this afternoon's meeting!!! I am hoping they give us our current waitlist standing. I hope I have moved closer to the top! A few friends are at the meeting right now so maybe I will get some info from them once it is over. Must be patient...must be patient.....grrrrrr!
There was 1 person that came into our alternates meeting and was explaining something to the ladies with her paper. I would guess that might be the person that was not there this morning. ------ indicated that everyone was accounted for in the "accepted" bunch. Glad to hear there were 50 alternate letter sent out. Doesn't sound like any alts will get called much before January though.
Yep that person who came in to the alternate meeting said that she had called and I do believe they may have made another appt with her and she will be accepted into the program. I was kind of bummed that they did say it will be HIGHLY unlikely that they will call any other alternates before January/March start
Is anyone planning to attend the meeting on the 24th ( I think that's the date) for the 3 in 1 program with Michigan University- AAS-BSS. Im thinking to attend but im not sure of the details. I found this link http://www.emich.edu/ccr/currguide_new/macomb_nursingcompletion.pdf
