Lynchburg College ABSN Summer 2016

Published

Didn't see a topic for folks applying to the ABSN program at Lynchburg this summer. I just got an email saying they're starting to review applications, so wanted to see where other applicants are. Best of luck with your applications!

Hey BayFNPtobe, I recently (today) got accepted into Lynchburg ABSN! How'd everything turn out for you??

Hi there! Congrats on your acceptance. How was the app process what would you consider a competitive gpa?

Hey there Hopeful! The application process was pretty easy and I found out fairly fast. If there's anything specific you'd like to know, feel free to PM me. I actually did not end up going there, just started a DPT program, but am always willing to help out!

Hello, I am considering applying to the program for summer 2017 start. For those who have applied already what was your cumulative GPA and your prerequisite GPA if you don't mind sharing. I see that the program requires at least a 3.0. LILLYNUR, do you have any advice? I see you were accepted rather quickly. The deadline for summer 2017 is 4/1. I was hoping to submit an application in the next couple of weeks. Is the admissions rolling or would I not find out whether I got in until the spring?

Hello, I wanted to know if anyone who has graduated from Lynchburg could give me more information on going back to their home state to take the NCLEX? I will possibly be attending Lynchburg beginning in May (still waiting to hear back from other schools), but I am considering taking the NCLEX in NC (my home state). I have done some research on the NCBON website and saw that NCBON just requires that students who went to an out of state program have a transcript sent to them directly from that nursing program. I couldn't find if I would need to take any additional classes while in the program. Any help from someone who has been in this situation would be greatly appreciated :)
