If you're not going to work in California, it is an utter waste of time to become IV certified in California. Once you move to Delaware you will need to become IV certified in the state of Delaware. Also, be sure that your phlebotomy training is approved by Delaware so that you can become certified there.
I completed a California LVN program on October 14, received my ATT on November 21, took NCLEX on December 28, and found out by mail that I passed on January 9. So the whole process took nearly 3 months.

I am pondering getting certified for phlebotomy and IV certified. How beneficial will these certifications be for me? I am currently attending school in southern Ca. and will be relocating to Delaware.
I will be continuing my education to get my RN then BSN.
Will these certifications equal higher pay?
Also want to know what is the average time that you wait from getting your LVN certification until you take the NCLEX?
Thank you
