Are there any SNF LVNs in the San Francisco Bay Area who have recently received wage increases? If so, please share your salary increase percentage.
I work for a facility in the City and they are offering 51 cents more per hour the first year to us, 12 cents more per hour the second year and even worse the third year. We feel that this ridiculously low! It is reminiscent of 1960's wage increases from the manufacturing product plants in California.
Please advise ASAP your experiieince and strategy for a better living wage.
Thank you,
Bridey

There are hospitals/facilities in SF that aren't unionized? That's a surprise.
Check into places who are members of SEIU Local 250. The wages are more competitive and increased are more along the standard of acceptable.
Hi Bridey,
Thank you for your rapid response regarding this salary increase issue!
We are in SEIU! Our union negotiator is working hard for us but the employer is TTIIGGHHTT!
Happy Sunday,
