I applied on the 3rd and forgot to send in my documents. Luckily, I had a post date of 2/28 and they received yesterday. Phew. This is my first time applying. I was told over 400 apply and 48 get admitted, roughly a 12% chance. Fingers crossed for us. :)
I turned mine in 2/24 and I was 83 on the list of received applications that were hand delivered. I hope our odds are better than 12%. I'm sure there's a lot of people who mailed in their application as well but still. Prayers up for us. I hope we get in :)
I wanted to hand deliver mine, but couldn’t working M-F 7:30-4:30 in Fairfield. I hope they don’t lose mine! Were you 83 for LVN?? I’d rather do RN, but I still have Physio and micro to retake as last time I took it was 14 years ago.
I heard 24 accepted for Fall and 24 for Spring, is that correct?
Yes, 83 for LVN. You can check on your los rios eservices. It will tell you if your application was received. I also wanted to do RN but it's so hard getting into the Bio classes for the pre reqs.
Oh really? I haven’t tried yet at SCC or CRC. Such a bummer to hear!
I’m so sick and nervous! I was going to do the LVN program at Blake Austin, but I don’t want to go broke paying 35k!
Mine only says submitted! ? I will have to call.
Mine updated to received on 2/26. I feel like it took longer the first time I applied ? they’re probably still working through the list. I heard In other forums that SCC isn’t very good about keeping the system updated.
Thank you! I dislike being impatient! My friend told me that even though they said you need a 62 on the TEAS and score doesn’t matter, it really does. Have you heard this? I was so sick with the flu that when I took the test, the teacher put me in the corner and I felt bad because you can’t get a refund. I scored a 72 and all my practice tests said 85-89.
I haven’t heard that but I’m suspicious of that as well. I noticed that this years application has you enter your TEAS score at the top. Another thing that’s kind of strange is that they required me to submit proof of my CNA cert. (last year as well). If it’s not considered why would they ask for those kinds of things?
I’m full of conspiracy theories about the process now that it’s my second time around ?
72 isn’t a bad score! I know a lot of people that struggle to pass at all. My co-worker submitted her application with a score under 62.
