LVN to RN transitions program at the College of Mainland

Hi...has anyone had experience with the LVN to RN program at the College of Mainland? If so, how does the class schedules normally go? And were you able to work while in school?

Hello! I already registered but you know what there's a conflict on the schedule though. I am definitely sure they just added the transition lecture on wed from 9-12.. i am confused coz there are clinicals on wednesday. Have you registered already?

Hello everyone. I got accepted to the lvn-rn college of the mainland nursing program. I have also registered for the classes. Do anyone have any suggestion on where to buy the textbook cheaper. Thanks

Do you have the list already of the books needed? I need the list of the books needed for our class.

@Donnadg. Yes i have the list. What i was told was to check with the bookstore. So what i did was go to the bookstore website and click class numbers then it will list the textbooks that is needed. Hope this help

Thank you! I am just going to some of the books as it will be much cheaper. Try going to bookbyte.com or textbookrush.com

The skyscape nursing which is around $200+ at the bookstore, i am not sure if its like a book or an app.. i tried to google the isbn and nothing shows up but if you try to google skyscape nursing it will showthe skyscape website.

Are you planning to buy everything now?

@Donnadg. Hello. I ordered all the books on amazon. I don't know if you have found the skyscape because am having issue finding it too. I did find one on skyscape website but i don't know if that's the same as what is required but i will go to the school bookstore next week to check how it looks like. Please let me know if you have any information. Thanks

I will just be renting some of them as it will be much cheaper. Yes, i am having issue on that skyscape too, would you please let me know what it looks like once incase you get a chance to check it out at the bookstore. I am thinking it might be an app though from that skyscape website. Thank you
